Master the framework that makes essay writing simple, structured, and stress-free. Learn how to generate ideas, build arguments, and craft high-scoring essays for NAPLAN, Selective Schools, QASMT, and beyond.
Does your child do well in reading, grammar, or NAPLAN, but freeze when asked to analyse literature? Do their essays come back with comments like “needs more depth,” “surface-level ideas,” or “unclear argument”?
You’re not alone. Even bright students often struggle to bridge the gap between basic English skills and the deeper analysis required in high school English.
High school English often leaves parents confused: “Why is my child suddenly struggling when they’ve always been good at English?” The truth is, NAPLAN and early schoolwork reward grammar and comprehension, but not the critical analysis and essay-building skills demanded in selective schools, IB, AP, and GCSE.
Every teacher has a different approach. Some focus on creative writing, others on exam drills. Tutors patch over individual essays without teaching a system. The result? Students get conflicting messages, lack confidence, and never develop a repeatable method they can trust.
This program gives your child one universal framework that works for every subject, every exam, every teacher. Instead of piecing together scattered advice, they’ll follow a clear, step-by-step system that makes analysis simple, structured, and repeatable.
By the end of the program, your child will:
Approach any text with confidence, from Shakespeare to unseen poetry to film studies
Know how to move beyond summaries and into true interpretation
Write essays that teachers praise for clarity, depth, and originality
Stay calm under exam conditions with a proven plan
Over a hundred students have already used this system to boost their marks in high school English.
School teachers have even praised the work of our students and used their writing as sample essays to teach their peers.
We don’t give your child “more practice.” We give them:

Apply the framework to literature, poetry, drama, and film
Write with clarity and confidence in school assignments and exams

The Framework for Analysis. Learn the unique step-by-step model that makes analysis clear and structured. This allows students to ensure they’ve squeezed every ounce out of analysis by analysing techniques they’ve identified, the meaning in context, the response it has on the intended audience as well as the purpose of the author to give a thorough well-rounded piece of analysis that leaves no doubt that the student has a clear understanding of the text they are working on.
Students work on crafting their own “cheat sheet”. Training wheels they can put on while they learn to ‘ride’ so to speak. This allows them to begin utilising the unique technique analysis system straightaway. The syllabus of each high school is different, and while they may not all cover the exact same material at the same time, students will inevitably encounter analytical assessment pieces.
The personal “cheat sheet” students will build will allow students who are working on analytical assessment pieces a simple version of the framework to use, while easing other students into the framework.
Students continue building out their cheat sheet.

🎯 Motivation to complete the course — students who follow the system and stay engaged will see the biggest improvements in both confidence and results
This course is designed for students in Years 7–12 who want to excel in high school English and beyond. It is especially valuable for students in selective schools (like BSHS or QASMT) and those preparing for IB, HSC, VCE, QCE, AP, or GCSE. Whether your child is struggling to move beyond surface-level responses or aiming to refine their writing for top marks, this program provides a proven system.
No. The framework works for both students who struggle with analysis and those who want to refine their skills for top grades. Students just need to dedicate time to learn the method that they will use to score highly in analytical assessments for their rest of their school tenure.
However, students do need to be familiar with the essay structure and the mechanics of essay writing.
We recommend 2–3 hours per week. Lessons are structured into short, manageable segments, and students can rewatch them anytime. This makes it easy to fit into a busy school schedule.
Tutors often fix one essay at a time. Schools vary by teacher. This program gives one universal framework that works across all texts and exams so that students aren’t constantly reinventing the wheel.
Yes. The system has been proven across multiple curricula. It was initially conceived to assist IB students in year 11 and 12 pick up the skills they needed to score highly in their assessments. It has additionally been taught to students from non-IB schools to help them build a firm foundation in analysis across all genres to students as young as year 7 in selective schools.
As IB is a rigorous program with a difficulty level that exceeds that of the GCSE and AP, by extension, our program can help your child with AP English and the English component of the GCSE.
This is very common — many students find analysis challenging, so they become indifferent.
For some students, all they need is a framework that helps them to build the skills they need to score highly. If that is your student, this program is the solution.
If your student is currently completing an English assessment involving analysis – by utilising components from this program they should see an improvement in their result.
Students have 1 year of access, so they can move at their own pace. Even completing part of the program gives them valuable skills, and they can return to the lessons any time they need a refresher.
However, the biggest transformation happens when students complete the full pathway, because each level builds on the last. That’s why we strongly encourage families to support their child in reaching the end — the payoff is worth it.
No. The framework works for all types of analytical writing: literature essays, unseen texts, comparative essays, exam essays, and more. It gives students a toolkit they can apply across genres such as novels, poetry, plays, advertisements, images, films, podcasts, news programs, songs – basically anything that is a ‘text’..
This flexibility means they are prepared for whatever writing tasks their school or exams require. By the end of the course, students don’t just know “one type” of genre to analyse — they understand how to analyse effectively over multiple genres.
Yes. But it’s important to understand that too many different approaches can confuse students — as the saying goes, “too many cooks spoil the broth.”
Often, even tutors within the same subject teach writing in different ways. That’s why we recommend letting your child work through the entire program and allowing the framework to speak for itself.
Once complete, the tutor will see the remarkable difference in clarity, structure, and output. Rather than clashing with tutoring, our system gives your child one reliable method that simplifies and strengthens everything they learn.
Absolutely. Motivated students can progress at their own pace. The lessons are available on-demand, so they can complete multiple modules per week if they wish, and revisit content whenever needed.
We limit access to one year intentionally. A clear timeframe creates positive urgency, helping students stay focused and complete the program instead of putting it off. This deadline propels them to master the framework while still allowing plenty of time to review and revisit lessons during the school year.
